Our name, LRDM, is short for Le Rêve des Moutons, which translates to
The Dream of the Sheep. It may sound poetic, and that’s exactly the
intention. Just like the gentle and dreamy image it evokes, our brand is
rooted in softness, imagination, and timeless beauty.

We believe in dreams. In children who shine, who dare to believe in
themselves, who know the sky is the limit. We believe in love, in
authenticity, and in the magic of childhood. That’s what Le Rêve des

We are Valéry and Floor, two mothers united by a shared vision and a
deep love for creating beauty that lasts.

Our paths into children’s fashion were different, yet deeply
connected. Valéry spent years working closely with numerous
international children’s brands through her daughter’s modelling
career, experiencing firsthand how often children’s clothes looked
exquisite in photos but felt stiff, scratchy, or uncomfortable in real
life.

Floor, with a rich career in fashion, including leading roles and
high-level positions at prestigious international fashion houses,
witnessed the same reality: beautiful designs sometimes lacked comfort
and wearability, while more comfortable garments were often so simple
that they missed the refined details and craftsmanship that make fashion
feel truly special.

We both realised that children’s fashion could be more than a choice
between beauty and comfort.

We saw stunning pieces crafted from luxurious fabrics and finished with
delicate details, yet impractical for children to truly live and play
in. On the other side, we found soft, comfortable clothes that were easy
to wear, but often lacked the elegance, unique design, and timeless
quality we sought. Why should parents have to choose one over the other?

We noticed how collections often felt incomplete, made up of individual
items instead of a cohesive whole. There were rarely enough options to
mix and match seamlessly, season after season. Parents, ourselves
included, spent endless hours searching for matching pieces from other
brands, in the right shades, fits, and styles, just to complete a look.
Sometimes, we even commissioned custom pieces simply to achieve the
harmonious aesthetic we wanted for our children.

And there was another challenge: many brands stopped at certain sizes,
making it impossible for parents to dress siblings of different ages in
coordinated, beautiful pieces. For families who dream of a timeless,
unified style for all their children, the options were painfully
limited.

We believed it could be different. And we were determined to create it.
